  • 2 cups frozen corn kernels
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Combine the corn, pepper, sugar, butter, cumin and water in a 10 inch skillet. Cover and simmer 15 minutes on medium heat, stirring often.
  2. Combine the flour with the milk, whisking it together, then add to corn.
  3. Cook 2-3 more minutes, stirring occasionally as mixture thickens.
