Renal Diet HQ Share - Natural Claims Can Be Misleading On A Food Label

Renal Diet Hq Share – Natural Claims Can Be Misleading On A Food LabelWhile I highly encourage label reading, I also highly encourage label understanding.  Know what fits your diet and don't just believe what banner the food manufacturer slapped on the front.

From the article:

"Natural," it turns out, doesn't have a definition — at least not from the Food and Drug Administration, which regulates most packaged food. (The U.S. Department of Agriculture regulates meat and poultry and has its own definitions.)

The attempt to deceive the public can be sad, but if you know what you need for your diet then you won't care if it's natural or not - you will make sure it fits your dietary needs.  And reading the ingredients is one of those steps.
