The spice used in this video is called the Grandma’s Loaf and More which have a little sodium because of the dehydrated tomato granules. That’s 15mg per packet. It also have garlic, mustard seeds, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, black pepper, lemon peel, parsley, green onions, coriander, marjoram and oregano. A great mix of different spices that is also great on meat, chicken, turkey and beef. The seasoning will surely not let you worry about your kidney disease, cardiac disease, and diabetes.

Ingredients

1 cup GLUTINOUS RICE, WHITE, RAW

4 medium GREEN PEPPER, SWEET, RAW (BELL), MEDIUM

1 lb GROUND TURKEY, 93% LEAN, 7% FAT, RAW

0.91 oz GRANDMA'S LOAF N MORE SPICE PACKET
½ cup COLBY CHEESE, SHREDDED

½ cup ONION, RAW, CHOPPED

1 cup WATER, MUNICIPAL

Instructions

1. Cook rice according to package directions. You should have 2 cups rice cooked.
2. Cut off tops of peppers and remove seeds. Set aside.
3. Mix together the Grandma's Loaf N More seasoning packet with the ground turkey.
In a large skillet cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain.
4. Add the onions to the turkey and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the rice to the cooked turkey. Sprinkle cheese on top and mix together then spoon into peppers. Transfer to a 5-6 quart slow cooker. Pour the water around the peppers.
5. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the peppers are tender and filling is
heated through. Serve with your favorite side dish.

    I was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease in 2001 I was told I was going to be on dialysis and 6 to 18 months and was going to be dead by 2007. I ran into a dietitian on a bus I told her the doctor said those were the prospects and that there was nothing I could do about it. She said "Don't eat any protein." So I lived life to vegetables whole grain bread and beans. 4 years ago they check my kidneys again where I had 19 cyst in my right kidney I had three and my left kidney that had 21 cyst I now had 1. So I thought I was cured and started eating meat again. That was four years ago 3 months ago they check my kidneys I now have 10 cysts in my left kidney. I have also gained 30 lb in my belly my finger swelled for the first time in my life a couple weeks ago and I have ischemic heart disease. I'm still here 12 years past the doctors termination date no dialysis so far. But now I need to work on a diet that's healthy for my heart kidneys and pancreas. Can you help me?
